Cris Gris is a Mexican filmmaker with an MFA in Directing and Screenwriting from NYU. Her films have screened at festivals such as Festival de Cannes’ La Semaine de la Critique, Be rlinale, and Morelia International Film Festival, where she received the Special Jury Award. She is a Film Independent Project Involve Fellow and a Sundance Institute Screenwriting and Directing Lab Fellow. Her visual work, spanning music videos to group gallery exhibitions in New York, London, and Mexico City, has been recognized by MTV LaTam and featured in publications including LA Times, Rolling Stone, Vogue Mexico, Variety and Juxtapoz.
