Still is a new model that inherits the aesthetics and structural philosophy of Ambientec’s long-selling Xtal collection. Its defining characteristics are a minimalist form that highlights the texture of crystal glass, and luminous gradients created through the combination of layered clear and colored glass.The glass used in Still is a highly transparent, specially crafted laminated glass composed of three precisely bonded layers: two layers of clear glass and one amber-colored glass layer. Soft illumination gently appears from within the material, creating a quiet depth and subtle shifts in tone that reveal different expressions throughout the day and night. Each piece of laminated glass is individually shaped and polished by hand by skilled artisans. Through the balance of layered glass, thickness, and light transmission, Still brings out the natural beauty of the material, combining finely crafted laminated glass with quiet depth to create a portable lamp with an entirely new tactile presence.
