To achieve such a stunning finish, we only use the highest quality composition of leather cut-offs; our secret being 85 per cent leather composition (diverted from industry) that is retextured to provide a beautiful, leather grained surface. Each notebook is completed with beautiful, British-made paper that has been carefully selected for use with fountain pens and not only guarantees minimal ‘feathering’, but is reasonably opaque and has nominal show-through. This superior quality woven paper is equally perfect for pencil sketching, as it is scribing, due to its thick ‘toothy’ surface.
