The Stonehenge Memorial was commissioned by Sam Hill in the memory of those of Klickitat County who gave their lives in defense of their country during the first world war. It was dedicated in 1918 and completed in 1929. It was designed to be as close to a replica of England's Stonehenge as it would look like still intact. Show more
