A simple, fluted, stoneware tea mug which we designed as a bespoke piece and have manufactured in Stoke-on-Trent. The stoneware is a new finish for our classic range of tea mugs wh ich we also produce in a glazed bone china finish. The stoneware tea mugs are left unglazed on the exterior but with a clear glaze inside. This gives them a the slightly matt, grainy texture which in the industry they call a biscuit finish. Quite fitting for a mug which would go well with a couple of tasty biscuits! These vessels are a delight to drink from with fine edges and a lightweight design. The biscuit stoneware looks elegant alongside our bone china and matt black items.
