Tissot is the family that defined what Jura wine could be. Stéphane took over from his parents in 1990, converted everything to biodynamics by 2004, and spent three decades learning to get out of the wine’s way. Fifty hectares across some of the finest terroirs in Arbois, farmed with the kind of patience and precision that shows in every bottle. What makes the estate remarkable is not one great wine but the entire range: a consistent, honest expression of what this strange, beautiful region can do. We love it because there is nothing performative about it. Every bottle is just Tissot being Tissot. Patchwork is Tissot’s entry-level Chardonnay from Arbois, a blend from multiple parcels across different soil types assembled to create a wine that is more than the sum of its parts. The name reflects the mosaic of terroirs contributing to the blend. Fermented in a combination of stainless steel and older oak, aged on lees for several months.
