ChiaoGoo Patina Single Points have precisely tapered, hand-crafted tips. They are made of Moso bamboo, which is the largest and strongest bamboo out of over 1,000 different species. The size is permanently laser imprinted on each needle and cap. The patina color is obtained with thermal heat. It is difficult to find bamboo large enough to produce needles larger than size U S15 (10 mm). Because of this, any needles larger than size US 15 (10 mm) are made from a lightweight wood. They are well balanced and have the size permanently laser imprinted on each needle. Straight needles are 9" in length.
