The first in our new collection of limited production specials, our Matrix straps marry traditional leather craftsmanship with a retro-futuristic ‘80s/'90s aesthetic that flips the script on staid horological tropes for a bit of well-earned fun. Fabricated by hand using premium leather hides paired to a synthetic, lenticular-style material with a micro-ribbed surface, they exhibit both a color changing effect and a tactile experience that produces a pleasing “zipping” sensation when touched. With naming conventions that call to mind the paint finishes on some of our favorite rides, Matrix straps are available in six unforgettable colors and will be produced in limited quantities. Our Rubystone Red version takes its naming inspiration from the love-it-or-hate-it paintwork used by a certain Stuttgart-based manufacturer's sports cars on and off since the 1970s. It dazzles with its dynamic shift from vibrant red to deep purple. Pair it with steel, gold, platinum - or any other case material, for that matter. The net effect will blow your socks off. Sized at 20mm, finished with tone-on-tone stitching and dual keepers, and fitted with an Analog:Shift-signed, stainless steel pin buckle, our Matrix straps are a “statement” like none other.
