It's the grand champion of Montgomery County --- now with no sugar added! This is the one that started it all. Eager to prolong the too-short rhubarb season, Monica looked up a rec ipe for home-canned strawberry rhubarb jam. A few cutting boards and one sticky stovetop later, the apartment smelled like pure springtime. Every time a new jar was cracked open, there was that picture-perfect picnic aroma, tart and sweet. Who knew a mason jar full of jam could be that instantly evocative? And thus the passion for home preserving was born.
