Remember playing Cat's Cradle when you were little? I do! With my Grandma! Many parents carry string games along on trips, to restaurants, and visits with relatives as a way to pas s the time and share tricks with their children. There are books to teach you how and videos on You Tube. Check out this finger strings book! Wonderful for older children and adults to teach to younger children. Recommended for ages 5 and up. These are the strings used in most of the Waldorf schools; classes 1-5. If they break (from rough yanking) light a candle and burn the ends back together.
