For the Striped Esjan pattern you can choose your favourite combination of fingering weight yarn in two gorgeous colours and lace weight in a different shade. This semi-circular shawl is knit by yarning over eyelets shape for easy meditative knitting. The border is decorated by large holes knit with a glowing mohair silk colour. The increasing holes produce a lovely scalloped edging inspired by the mountains of Iceland. Yarn that is dyed in batches may have some variation in colour between skeins taken from different lots.
