The strength of all floating shelf brackets depends on the wall fixings used, the type of wall, and the shelf size—deeper shelves reduce weight capacity. Brackets should be installed 50-60cm apart. The total weight of the shelf must be included in capacity calculations. Each bracket supports up to 30kg per pair when installed correctly into a solid brick or cement wall with appropriate fixings. The base measures 80x40x3mm in galvanized steel with four slotted holes for precise adjustment. The rod is 155mm long and 18mm in diameter, suitable for shelves 45mm thick and up to 300mm deep (weight capacity decreases with depth). For longer shelves, install one bracket per stud in hollow walls or every 500mm in solid walls. Hollow wall anchors, sold separately, require a minimum of two per bracket. When mounted to drywall alone, capacity depends on wall.
