It seems everyone wants a Strat-style guitar in their arsenal, and you always need one while recording. So many of today's guitars are influenced by that original offset body, and there is a reason; it's such a classic sound and is so versitile that you can get almost any type of tone out of them. Our Studio model starts out as a solid piece of 1.7" Swamp Ash. We then massage out the gentle sweeping curves allowing for a little bit of extra bottom end, angle in the beautiful rounded radiuses, and then give it a generous belly cut and a sleek forearm relief. Bolted up to this sexy body, the Studio has a 21-fret hard Maple neck with a 25.5" scale. The Maple neck has an additional Maple Fretboard bound to the top and had the Studio Straight 6 Angled Headstock with Schaller-type locking tuners. As with many of the girls in our stable, sometimes she likes to get a little tricky. As you can see, this is a guitar that you can really play. And to help with the Studios sultry sound, she has a pair of Seymour Duncan pick-ups bolted in under the strings. A Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro Single Coil in the neck position and a Seymour Duncan Custom Custom TB-11 Humbucker in the bridge. This way you really get a versitile sound in a compact package. This girl really likes to sing. As with many of the girls in our stable, sometimes she likes to get a little tricky, and with that in mind, we have added a Tremelo to the Studio. You may be thinking, OK, that's not too strange, most Strat Style guitars have Tremelo's, and you are right, but we added in the Floyd Rose EVH Tremelo. We figure if it is good enough for the master of the trem, it should be good enough to put on the Studio. We are sure you will agree.
