A compact wheel-thrown stoneware mug made at Hatchet Cove Pottery in Newfoundland. Its finished glaze surface is shown in the photographs, paired with a restrained straight-sided f orm and broad opening.Made with Plainsman M340 stoneware. Approximately 3¾ in wide × 3½ in high, or 5 in wide including the handle. Visible throwing and finishing marks, along with substantial handle joins, are part of this individual studio piece. Show more
