Open Sewing Drop-In Have a sewing project you want help with? Bring what you’re working on and get hands-on support with: • garment construction • confusing pattern instructions • fit issues and adjustments • zippers that refuse to cooperate • projects that have gone slightly off the rails Basically, you bring the sewing problem. Your local fashion and sewing nerd will help you figure it out. This is a relaxed, open sewing class where you can work at your own pace, ask questions, troubleshoot, and make real progress on your project. Some people come to finally start the pattern sitting in their fabric stash. Others bring something they abandoned halfway through. Some simply want dedicated sewing time with access to the machines, tools, and someone who can help when things get complicated. Whatever you’re working on, this is your space to sew. Choose Your Drop-In Adult Drop-In 2 hours — $60 Teen Drop-In 2 hours — $50 Kids Drop-In 1.5 hours — $40 Please select the correct age group when purchasing. What You Can Work On Bring a garment you’re making, a pattern you need help understanding, or a project that needs a second set of eyes. With my background in fashion design, pattern drafting, and garment development, I can help with: • reading and adjusting sewing patterns • garment construction • fit issues and troubleshooting • modifying a pattern or design • learning new sewing techniques • getting unstuck when a project goes sideways Simple or ambitious projects are both welcome. What’s Included • Use of studio sewing machines and workspace • Guidance and troubleshooting throughout your session • Access to studio tools and common supplies Materials Bring your own fabric, pattern, notions, and project supplies. The studio usually has common items such as thread, interfacing, zippers, and HeatnBond available, but specific colours, sizes, or specialty supplies are not guaranteed. If your project requires something specific, please bring it with you. Simple mini projects may also be available for anyone who wants to practise their skills without bringing a larger project. Booking Your Class After completing your payment, book your class time at: calendly.com/chavahlindsay All current dates and availability are shown directly in the booking calendar. Your spot is not reserved until both payment and booking are complete. Class purchases are non-refundable. A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule. Missed classes and late cancellations cannot be credited or transferred. Spaces are limited so each student has room to work and access to individual support.
