11" x 11" Acrylic and Wood on raw canvas. 2025 This collaboration between Eileen Kiyonaga and myself brings together two distinct yet complementary practices, rooted in our shared fascination with the natural world. Eileen, a multidisciplinary artist trained in industrial design and fine furniture, works predominantly with wood, drawing out its inherent textures and imperfect lines. I create abstract acrylic works on canvas that explore atmosphere, movement, and the restorative qualities of nature. Together, our approaches merge material and mark, precision and gesture, structure and softness, creating a dialogue between solid form and ephemeral movement. Local pickup from my studio in Squamish BC is available upon request. All paintings are signed on the back, and include an oak frame. Paintings are sprayed with UV protection and are installed with d-rings and wire making them ready to hang.
