The StuH 42 (rails) miniature represents the Sturmhaubitze 42 equipped with side rails for mounting Schürzen armor plates. Built on the StuG III chassis, this self-propelled gun featured a 105mm howitzer for infantry support, excelling in destroying fortified positions and enemy troops. The addition of rails allowed for extra protection against anti-tank rifles and shaped charges, enhancing its battlefield survivability. Despite its primary role in fire support, it retained some anti-armor capability, making it a versatile vehicle in late-war engagements. This is a fully assembled miniature model that requires no additional gluing or kit assembly. It arrives ready for use, featuring intricate details and precision modeling. It's printed as one unit and comes in the box ready for immediate use. This fully assembled model is suitable for use in miniature wargaming, scale model railroads, miniature scenes or dioramas, as well as for model display purposes.
