A scenic moss agate in rich brown and white, and the name comes from what you see in it, the dendritic inclusions arranged across the face so the whole thing looks like a landscape with trees on a hill. Those inclusions are mineral rather than plant, formed as solution crept through the silica before it set. Moss agate with a scene this clear at this size is uncommon. Moss agate is a stone of grounding and new growth, and the scene and coloring here are unique to this piece. This specimen measures about 5 in wide and weighs 13 oz. Show more
