STX-2401 is a precision diamond wire saw to dice materials, such as crystal boule, geographic sample, and interstellar meteor, up to Ø24" (600 mm). A reciprocal moving diamond wire travels vertically and cuts through the stationary sample with a digital control. The sample holder has two degrees of freedom, Y axis for cutting spacing and the azimuth for sample alignment.
