Gilbert Rugby World Cup 2019 Replica Ball Gilbert are proud to have been chosen as the official ball supplier for Rugby World Cup 2019. Between 20th September and 2nd November 2019 , the world’s 20 best rugby playing nations will compete in Japan for rugby’s ultimate prize. This is the first time a RWC has been hosted in Asia and the tournament is sure to be bigger and better than ever. As well as the Official Match Ball, Gilbert are pleased to also offer the RWC 2019 Replica Range using the same innovative design. The fractal spiral pattern across the ball ends with the polygonal representation of the sun on either end of the ball, ensuring players have a key point of colour reference when rotating the ball. It also consists of strikingly coloured geometric shapes that stand out well against the white ball. Within the event mark and at both ends of the ball is the iconic RWC feature which highlights Japan as the host nation and their fundamental involvement in the competition. The RWC Replica Balls have a grippy rubber compound surface essential for practising balls skills at home. They are also fitted with a synthetic latex bladder for excellent air retention and the 3 Ply backing material ensures that they maintain their shape well.
