Asics Gel-Netburner Academy 9 The GEL-NETBURNER ACADEMY™ 9 is suited for the beginner to intermediate netball player looking for a faster and more responsive underfoot feel. This shoe is a great alternative to the NETBURNER PROFESSIONAL™ providing a balance of flex and stability for quick propulsion and change of direction. FLYTEFOAM IS Asics’ next generation midsole cushioning. It rebounds faster than the rubber previously used- and is much lighter. Asics has used Fytefoam in the midsole of the Academy 9, resulting in a far more comfortable and cushioned ride than before. To make the cushioning even better, Asics has taken the step of inserting Gel into the rearfoot and forefoot. TPU TRUSSTIC™ is used in the midfoot, for torsional rigidity, stability and protection when pivoting and stepping. The non-marking solid rubber outsole fully wraps to maximise durability of the shoe and minimise outsole wear and tear. Sizing is in US Width: B standard – Women’ shoes are available in B standard width, then wider D, then wider 2E.
