Job Title: Style ConnectorDepartment: Consignment Intake & Client ExperienceReports To: Floor Manager / Style Lead Role Focus:Client Intake | Style Evaluation | Pricing Strategy | Cross-Team Coordination Overview:The Style Connector is a key client-facing role responsible for shaping the intake experience for consignors. This position combines personal style judgment with business acumen to evaluate, select, and price incoming consignment items. Working closely with the Style Operations Assistant and sales floor team, the Style Connector ensures a seamless intake process that aligns with store inventory goals and current fashion trends. This role requires excellent communication, a strong sense of style, and a consistent, on-brand approach throughout daily rotations. Key Responsibilities: Consignor Interaction & Intake• Greet consignors warmly and professionally at each appointment.• Review, evaluate, and select items based on condition, style relevance, and store needs.• Communicate selection rationale to clients with clarity and kindness. Pricing & System Entry• Price accepted items using store pricing guidelines, seasonal data, and trend insights.• Enter intake details accurately into the inventory system.• Tag and organize items for processing or hand-off. Workflow & Team Coordination• Rotate evenly through intake appointments and maintain flow throughout the day.• Coordinate closely with the Style Operations Assistant to ensure efficient processing.• Collaborate with the Floor Manager weekly to review intake alignment with sales trends. Planning & Communication• Participate in bimonthly planning meetings to stay ahead of seasonal trends and business goals.• Submit daily summaries via Slack highlighting intake trends, volume, issues, and client feedback.• Maintain consistent communication with teammates to support a positive intake experience. Qualifications:• Strong personal style and ability to assess fashion quality and relevance• Excellent communication and customer service skills• Comfort with in-person client interaction and intake pacing• Experience with pricing, merchandising, or consignment is a plus• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a dynamic, fast-paced setting• Basic familiarity with digital intake or inventory systems Prepared by FC 2025 Show more
