Construction notes: This project walks you through a dedicated shawl cast on and the garter tab – two techniques that are quite common in shawl knitting. After finishing the garter tab, the body of the shawl is worked in a simple eyelet pattern. Once the body of the shawl is complete, you’ll work a ribbed border edging before casting off. Once it’s done, we’ll use the magic of blocking to finish your shawl and open up the eyelets.
