Styrene Monomer is used for thinning polyester and vinylester resins and gelcoats. Allows an otherwise thick resin to become more sprayable and workable. Styrene combines with the resin chemically as opposed to acetone which will still evaporate. Mix at 2-8% - any more can disrupt the chemical reacution and the resin may not go off. Show more
