The unique structure of closed cell foam sheets , or any other form of EPS, allows almost total resistance from moisture and water vapor. Polystyrene foam will not rot or attract fungi or mildew. Also, EPS has a superior R-value, so polystyrene sheets will insulate and keep heating or cooling inside of any particular room or commercial space.
