The Fall's 31st studio album, Sub-Lingual Tablet, features all the trademarks of a great Fall record. It comprises 11 tracks and is available on CD and limited edition vinyl. The v inyl version includes different mixes. The current Fall line-up consists of Peter Greenway on lead guitar, Keiron Melling on drums, Elena Poulou on keyboards and vocals, Mark E. Smith on vocals, and David Spurr on bass. The band is known for its prolific output, with more than triple the number of studio albums in live albums and other compilations. Founded in 1976 in Manchester by its only constant member, Mark E. Smith, The Fall has maintained its existence ever since. While the band has undergone stylistic changes over the years, its music is often characterized by an abrasive guitar-driven sound, frequent use of repetition, and Smith's distinctive vocals with often cryptic lyrics.
