The GKTECH 240sx solid subframe bushings are a direct replacement of the standard bushings and ensure that movement of the subframe is kept to a minimum. They eliminate axle tramp whilst also raising the subframe 0.59" (15mm) which helps to correct the roll center on lowered vehicles. - CNC Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum.- 4 Piece SetShims to suit GTR models can be seen here: Subframe bush spacer shims (set of 4) What's involved in installing these solid bushings? You'll need to remove your subframe and then your standard bushings. There's a few ways to remove the standard bushings which option you choose is up to you (google is your friend). Once you've got the standard bushings removed you need to press fit the new bushings in their place. TIP: put the bushings in the freezer for a few hours before installing them. This will shrink them slightly to make things a little easier. What’s the advantage of these bushings? The solid bushings offer a more solid rear end = better driver control and feel and also raise the subframe to help correct the roll center on lowered vehicles.
