A Monster for the Monsters. When the marks are 300 feet down and it's go time, hesitation kills. The Heavyweight Ogre is your go-to weapon when you need to punch through the water column fast and land right in the strike zone—before everyone else on the boat even gets there. Available in 400g, 500g, and 600g, the Ogre was born offshore, in frustration. After too many trips watching fish boil below us while our gear fluttered halfway down—or worse, got ignored—we knew we needed something different. Something built to go deep, get there fast, and still dance like real prey once it hit depth. Submission's Heavyweight Ogre is engineered for deep-water domination. With its fast, knife-like profile, it slices through heavy current and drops like a shot. But unlike most knives, it’s center-weighted, giving it that crucial slow-pitch flutter on the fall and a long, swimming retrieve—just the way finicky predators like bluefin want it. Once it's in the zone, its asymmetrical body kicks and rolls like a panicked baitfish. Big tuna, tilefish, grouper, and deep-dwelling rockfish don’t just see it—they react to it. Why Choose the Heavyweight Ogre Fast to Depth, Built for ViolenceThese aren’t your average speed jigs. They’re balanced for both speed and control, letting you drop fast without losing the signature slow pitch action. Deadly RealismFrom the paint to the roll to the way it flutters on the pause—every element of this jig screams “injured baitfish.” And predators can’t help themselves. Built Like a TankThrough-wire construction. Saltwater-grade hooks (rig your own or use ours). Premium foil and UV finishes. These are jigs built by fishermen who fish hard—not marketers in a boardroom.
