This class is taught by Cornell Certified Master Beekeeper Paul himself and his team, who successfully keeps hundreds of honeybee colonies throughout the Capital region and Hudson Valley and who, year after year, has managed to successfully over-winter his colonies and nucleus colonies.Class breakdown: Six 2-hour classroom sessions and one 3-hour working session at the farm working with live bee colonies.The classroom sessions will take place live through an online platform where you can enjoy them and learn from the comfort of your home. The first class will meet on February 19, 2026 at 7:00PM. You will receive an email prior to that date with log-in instructions.All students will have access to a dropbox folder with downloadable files, presentations and pertinent information. You are encouraged not to place orders for supplies, equipment or bees until after the first class. During the first session you will learn the options available to you and you will be given access to some discount opportunities as part of your class participation.
