Sudu Te, “white tea” in Sinhala, a perfume inspired by Avital Guy's visit to the lush, fragrant island country, Sri Lanka. A perfumista's dream. Jasmine flowers grow wild and decor ate temples, fresh cinnamon bark is taken directly from the tree, coconut and sandalwood trees thrive here. A rare white tea grows exclusively high on Sri Lanka's mountains that inspired this perfume. Beautiful, delicate, perfect tea that must be hand picked only a few weeks each year. Nuanced fruit, gently green, nutty notes that play together without the bitterness present in green or black tea, all from this tiny pale green leaf. She brought some home for an occasional taste and sniff, eventually finding its way into our perfume. Massoia Bark at the base gives a distinct note of coconut wood, unique to any other perfume. Combined with sandalwood and benzoin at the base with a resinous woody soul.
