Haruka Sugiyama is a potter located in Kasama, Ibaraki just North of Tokyo. He works with glazes that tend to melt and mix during the firing process. For the white piece, he uses t wo different glazes and they drip down to the bottom of the plate and make crystals. They are mysterious yet so beautiful.
