Sumatra Mandheling Coffee is grown on the lofty volcanic slopes of Mt. Leuser near the port of Padang. Our Sumatra is Grade 1, double or triple hand sorted/inspected. This extra attention to quality control results in a consistent cup that includes coffee cherry picked at optimum ripeness. Cupping Notes: Earthy, strong notes of cedar, sweet tobacco, chocolate, spices, with a winey-low acidity, full body and balanced. Growing Altitude: 2500-5,000 ft.
