Summer Adventures was created at a First Friday in June 2023, where the community gathers together to celebrate the vibrant energy of summer. Friends and visitors at Stio's store c ontributed joyful words and phrases like “ride through the fear” and “fresh grass on the toes,” capturing the season’s playful spirit. I painted the piece on July 15, beginning with layers of Chrome Orange, Primary Blue, yellow, red, and soft green, using a paint stir stick to reveal contributions beneath the surface.
