Join Melanie and Jennifer for the first Midland Mahj Social & Competitive Summer League! 📍: Texas Sun & Winery⏱️: Tuesdays, 6-9 PM 📅: June 9th, 16th, 23rd, & 30th Includes:🀄️ Mahjong tiles, racks, mats, etc. will be provided by Midland Mahj 💰 $150 - Cost includes Mahjong game setup, playing all 4 weeks, charcuterie & flat breads, wine, 2 prizes per session and GRAND PRIZE at the end. Please make every attempt to find your own sub if you’re not available during one of the sessions. The substitute player's points and wins will count in your place. Each table will play 4 games (each player will take turns being the dealer). We will keep score throughout all 4 weeks. The player with the highest score will win a travel set and mat from The Mahjong House!🀄️ An official 2026 NMJL card is required to play at this event. If you do not have one, please order one online or I have extras. 🎉 This league is social and competitive. We like to have fun, but it is important that you know the Mahjong rules. Along with being fun, we will fine tune our Mahjong skills. This league is not too serious! We are nice and gracious. For us, Mahjong is all about connecting and being inclusive. Everyone has a spot at our table! There are 2 levels: Flowers & Bams Flowers: still learning all the ins and outs, but love it and have taken Mahjong 101 & 102, basic understanding of the game, can play unassisted, I don’t consider myself intermediate yet Bams: intermediate player, played many times, understand the rules, can play unassisted Please note: Tickets are non‑refundable and cannot be canceled. However, you’re welcome to coordinate a ticket transfer with someone else if you can no longer attend.
