I planted some zinnia and cosmos seeds this past spring, and it's hard to explain how much joy I've gotten every day this summer by what has grown - from observing the miracle of the colors and blooms themselves, to cutting and gifting them to others, to the inspiration to paint them so they stay with you and me into the winter.
