After years of building complicated circuits, Fuzz 101 is a back-to-basics approach to fuzz. Utilising 2 BC108 silicon transistors and some legendary fuzz mods, Fuzz 101 takes the concept back to basics with modern amenities loved by modern players. Along with the traditional Volume and Fuzz controls, Fuzz 101 incorporates an external Bias control that allows the user to adjust the voltage to the transistors to dial in the perfect tone — whether sputtery Velcro fuzz or big-sounding distortion. The Tone knob controls a Rat-inspired tone circuit that allows enough EQ control to cut through a mix or take the trebley edge off and blend in. Fuzz 101 is made in Syracuse, NY by working musicians, and operates on a 9-volt, negative center power supply.
