Tapestry 101---THIS CLASS IS INCLUDED IN THE SUMMER CLASS PASS! Date: Saturdays July 11th and 18th (10am-1pm) Thursdays August 20th and 27th (5pm-8pm) Project level: Beginner (This is an entry level course – no prior weaving experience is necessary.) Learners will weave a 4 X 6“ tapestry sampler over multiple sessions. Materials to purchase for class: Frame loom (available for rent for $15 for duration of class). Cotton warp Beater or table fork Pick up stick (optional) Shed stick (optional) Weft yarn in three colors (We recommend Gist Array yarn) One warm, one cool, and one contrast Tapestry needle Scissors Tape measure Materials Provided: Instructor will provide handouts and have samples and reference books. Cost Options: Summer Class Pass Holders: Class tuition is included with your Pass. Class Kits and loom rentals must be purchased separately and are not included with your Pass.
