The Herschel SUMMIT White must be under permanent cover and fully protected against the risk of any water ingress or exposure to rainfall. In areas with air movement and wind, the far infrared spread may reduce by 1/3 to 1/2. In such instances, we recommend proportionally increasing the number of heaters. For colder, windier situations SUMMIT White will be less effective and we recommend choosing a heater from our Sunset or Performance outdoor range. SUMMIT White 2600RW has a handheld remote control providing 2 power settings (100% and 50%) and a 1-24 hour timer. It must be operated via the handheld remote control and cannot be linked to any any controller. The SUMMIT White 2600W (Non-remote model) can be used with external thermostat controllers, such as the Herschel iQ MD2, allowing thermostatic and App control.
