It provides a stable, durable substrate that enhances bond strength and long-term performance in demanding New Zealand conditions. SAMv Board is designed to operate as part of the SAMv Adhered Masonry System, where: The board itself, together with SAMv joint tape and approved detailing, forms the water-resistive barrier (rainscreen layer) behind the adhered masonry system. Additional waterproofing membranes are not required and may compromise system performance.
