Today's forests, tomorrow's gardens. How do you turn a parking lot into a forest? Leave it alone. That's what's going on here? Trees left alone, to do what they do without us mucki ng about. This garden was purchased some years ago and simply left alone for a period of time. When the stewards of the land felt it was time to harvest the tea they did so only in the spring and continue to do so to this day. This is minimally intensive agricultural and it's precisely what we hope for the future of tea. Grow native heirloom varieties which are inherently resistant to pests and thrive in their local ecology. Save the fertilizer for food, tea doesn't need it. Notes A soft and subtle puerh with a bit of vegetal / herbal bitterness creeping in if you push the tea. Nice coating mouthfeel with a touch of tannin and an uplifting energy. Some fruit character with the slightest hint of incense starting to show. One thing to note here is this tea is quite sensitive to water. We definitely recommend finding a nice spring water and one that isn't to hard.
