Hours and hours of work went into the painted designs featured on this mug. From the glowing sun face, to the little touches of gold, everything was meticulously painted by hand wi th multiple layers of underglaze to ensure solid coverage and vivid detail. My personal favorite details on this piece are the hand-flower things and the leaping frog on her back.
