Today the emphasis in the school grounds is – NO HAT, NO PLAY: however, many hats supplied to the uniform shops in the past fail to last the distance, they fall apart at the seams, they fade, loose their shape BUT there is an alternative – The SUNAWAY. The Sunaway is made from Lustalene material bonded to an open cell foam, no wire in the brim to lose its shape. Fully washable (hand washing is recommended) and can be squashed into schoolbags. A large range of colours available to match school uniforms and a school logo on the crown (either embroidered or a heat seal logo) is available for an additional fee. The Sunaway is light-weight and offers the AS 4399-96 -UPF50+ sun protection. Chinstraps with breakaways are included.
