SUNBRIGHT LP4-400MA2 is a degradable PEG derivative incorporating an enzyme-cleavable peptide linker within its structure. It consists of a linear 40 kDa PEG chain (20 kDa × 2) ter minated with a maleimide group, enabling site-specific conjugation to thiol groups on bioactive molecules (e.g., proteins, peptides, and other biologics).The peptide linker is designed to be stable in serum but selectively cleaved inside cells, such as within lysosomes, by enzymatic activity. This cleavage reduces the molecular weight of the PEG, facilitating enhanced clearance from the body compared to non-degradable PEGs.
