We carry two models to match the ring size you're working with. 3/4" Tool — For 3/4", 15 gauge SS hog rings. The workhorse for lobster trap, wire mesh and oyster bag assembly. Compatible with bright, galvanized, and stainless steel rings in both sharp and blunt points. Closure diameter accommodates wire bundles from 5/16" to 27/64". For our applications, we only use blunt-end stainless steel clips. 1/2" Tool — For 1/2", 16 gauge SS hog rings. Ideal for finer meshwork, netting, and lighter-gauge applications. Available in galvanized, galfan, aluminum, and stainless steel rings. Tight closure head fits bundles as small as 1/8". For our applications, we only use blunt-end stainless steel clips.
