Turning the dial on the back of the main unit moves the upper plate of the mandoline and changes the slicing thickness. The blades also allow delicate ingredients such as tomatoes, lemons, or zucchini to be cut into long strips without damaging their fibers. It includes three interchangeable blades: Main blade: Enables precise slicing with 15 adjustable thickness settings (0.4–6 mm) 2 mm julienne blade: Fine strips for salads and decorative vegetable and fruit preparation. With ingredients that have a coarser, softer, or less uniform structure (e.g., apples), minor cracking may occur when cutting 2 mm strips—this is completely normal. 6 mm julienne blade: Wider strips, ideal for potato sticks or other side dishes The mandoline is ideal for slicing fresh, firm, and healthy vegetables, producing smooth, aesthetic, and even cuts. An exception is mushrooms: due to their spongy structure, cuts remain smooth and even, but slight tearing of the skin may occur at the end of the cut, depending on the condition of the ingredient. CONSTRUCTIONThe blade is made from molybdenum-vanadium stainless steel for long edge retention and corrosion resistance. It’s removable and can be resharpened. A non-slip base, foldable support leg, and finger guard ensure stable, controlled slicing. Frame: Thoughtfully designed with rubber non-slip feet at the front and a rubberized, foldable support leg at the back. It can be used freestanding over a cutting board, plate, or other surface, and can also be securely hooked onto a bowl for added stability. Blade: Molybdenum-vanadium steel offers higher wear resistance than standard stainless steel, is rust-resistant, and retains sharpness for a long time. The blade is removable and can be sharpened on whetstones. Safety: Includes a food holder with five pins to securely grip ingredients and protect fingers.
