The 6600-751 is the genuine 3-pin water temperature sensor with an approximately 12-foot, 2-wire cable used on newer Jacuzzi® and Sundance® spas. It plugs directly into the control board and reports water temperature, so a failing sensor can cause readings that don't match the water, heating problems, or sensor-related error codes. Dealer fitment lists include Jacuzzi® J-500™ from 2015, J-400™ from September 2015, J-300™ from 2016, and J-200™ and J-100™ from 2018, along with Sundance® 880™ from 2016, 980™ from October 2016, 780™ from April 2017 and 680™ from 2018. Sundance has since released the extended-tip 6600-551, which supersedes 6600-751 for most of these spas. The important exception: 2016 through July 2021 Jacuzzi J-325, J-355 and J-365 models still require this 6600-751 sensor. If you own one of those spas, this is the part to order; for most other 3-pin spas, the 6600-551 is the current replacement. The O-ring that seals the sensor in its housing (6540-228) is sold separately and should be replaced along with the sensor. Turn off power at the breaker before working on the equipment, and use a qualified technician if you're not comfortable with spa electronics.
