Refined Cues with Hand-Crafted Western Elegance The Professional's Choice Sunflower Spur delivers soft, precise communication wrapped in artisan craftsmanship. These spurs feature hand-tooled copper and silver sunflower overlays set against a warm antique brown finish that develops a rich patina over time. Whether you're working reining patterns or showing in western pleasure, the 10-point blunt cloverleaf rowel rolls across your horse's side for a clear signal without over-sensitizing. Built from durable sweet iron with a contoured heel cup that locks onto your boot's spur rest, these spurs stay seated through every pivot and lead change. The 1.5"–2" angled shank is sized for easy reach without excessive heel rotation — ideal for riders who need consistent contact without working for it. From our barn to yours, this is the kind of gear that works as hard as it looks good. Why Riders Choose the Sunflower Spur Humane, rolling contact — 10-point blunt cloverleaf rowel provides clear cues without poking or bruising sensitive horses. Show-ring coordination — Hand-tooled sunflower overlays match floral-themed headstalls and breast collars for a cohesive arena look. Secure, no-slip fit — Contoured heel cup grips your boot's spur rest to prevent wiggle and inconsistent signals during work. Durable sweet iron construction — High-quality steel resists brittle wear and develops an authentic Western patina with use. Balanced shank angle — 1.5"–2" length reaches the barrel easily without overextending your heel, reducing rider fatigue. Timeless Professional's Choice quality — Trusted ranch gear built to last through daily training and weekend shows. Best For Western pleasure, reining, and ranch riders looking for soft, precise leg cues with decorative, show-ready styling. Frequently Asked Questions Q: Will the Professional's Choice Sunflower Spur fit my western boots? Yes — these spurs are sized in standard Ladies/Youth and Men's fits. The contoured band is designed to snap snugly onto the heel cup of most western work and show boots, keeping them in place during heavy movement. Q: How do I care for the antique brown finish and sunflower overlays? The sweet iron and antique finish are designed to age naturally. Simply wipe away sweat and dirt after each ride — the developing patina is a hallmark of quality steel and won't affect the integrity of the hand-tooled overlays. Q: Is the blunt rowel suitable for a sensitive or young horse? Absolutely. The 10-point cloverleaf rowel is specifically designed to roll across the skin rather than poke, making it ideal for horses that need a soft touch or riders working on subtle lateral movements and leg yields.
