Sometimes I start wet felting with a plan.Sometimes the wool has other ideas.This piece began as layers of wool, texture, and color with no destination in mind. As I worked, these Van Gogh inspired sunflowers slowly emerged, and I decided to follow where they wanted to go.The finished piece combines wet felting, needle felting, hand embroidery, and glass seed beads to create a one of a kind mixed media artwork full of texture and movement.
