The glossy, deep burgundy black foliage is very attractive in all seasons. In mid summer, orangish yellow berries appear making way for red berries in the fall. But like I mentioned SUNJOY TODO™ is a sterile form of Barberry that has no seeds. Hardy in zones 4-8, SUNJOY TODO™ prefers to be grown in a full sun location. Grown for its foliage, Barberry can be used as a border, specimen or foundation planting. Trimming to shape can be done at anytime of year if you feel it is needed.
