Portion Size You will receive one juvenile Sunkist Cherry Shrimp that is 0.8-1.5cm in length. Description Sunkist Cherry shrimps are scavengers and will feed on algae and microorganisms living in plants and other organic material, but their diet will usually have to be supplemented. A high-quality shrimp food, such as Shrimp King can be used as a staple. These striking, orange shrimp also love blanched vegetables occasionally, frozen foods and other sinking fish foods. Like other cherry shrimp, a minimum tank size of 10L should be used to keep a colony of shrimp. All aquariums, including Sunkist Cherry shrimp tanks, should have plenty of aquarium plants and hiding spots. A filter is not necessary however it will allow for more shrimp to be kept. A sponge filter or a regular filter with a pre-filter sponge is recommended for when keeping dwarf shrimp, as their fry are tiny and can easily get sucked up by filters. All shrimp will feel safest with plants or decor which provide hiding areas for them.
